Thankful Thursday

Today, we’re joining Brian’s Thankful Thurdsay Blog Hop.

This was the second neighborhood kitty to visit the catnip pot in my backyard in about 20 minutes. This guy looked up to say thanks.

I’m  thankful that I’m feeling better. The vet called and said my urine culture came back with E. coli and the antibiotic I’m on should take care of it. We’re all thankful that we should get over this little hurdle pretty easily.

Oh Raven, we’re glad you can kick this thing in the butt soon! Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

    • Raven says:

Me too. Maybe my butt got a little messy and the germs crept into my bladder? I don’t know but I’m glad it’s probably not as difficult to manage like the pee wars you’ve been through.

  2. pilch92 says:

I am glad you are on the right antibiotic. Cute kitty visitor.

  3. We’re purring you’re better soon, Raven.

  4. Mango and Aspen and our Mom says:

I I am so very glad you are getting better Raven! Its Mango and my Sisfurrs Aspen! We
Aspen is age 11 so She was a young kitten when Ivory was 16 to 18.Ivory had to be put on a special Cystitis diet as she had Chronic Urinary Tract Infections! Everybody , all the Older female Cats were all put on Walthams Wet Cystitis diet.Mom mixed dry Walthams with wet Walthams because for some reason the Older female cats did not like that dry food( but not Aspen ) she was very young and got kitten food!

  5. Summer says:

I’m so glad you’ve got the right meds, Raven! We have kitties visiting our catnip garden too.

  6. BZ Dogs says:

Sounds like good news! I remember having to hold Beau’s tail up while pottied because he was too stoned on meds after having a fox tail removed from his ear to be steady, and he refused to take care of business if his tail touched the ground. It took me a moment to figure out why he would squat, stand, then squat again. But once I held his tail (including feathers!) off the grass he quickly got the task done. The things we do for our loved ones. 🙂

And yes, that’s the same lens! I love it. 🙂

  7. Raven, glad you are the road to recovery. That neighborhood cat has great whiskers!

  8. CATachresis says:

  9. McGuffy Ann says:

We grow catnip, too. This past Summer, “someone” was rolling through it every night! We did see a diluted calico and two big toms. Unusual, because for years there were no strays. I always look, but have seen no one since Autumn. I worry, though.

  10. Jan K says:

Yay, you’re on the road to recovery then! So glad to hear it, Raven!

Raven, we are so very happy that you are feeling better. Whew, that is a big relief. Thank you so much for all your suggestions on my tummy problems. M is going to research where to get some of that food tommorrow. The ER vet mentioned special high protein meet like that – Kangaroo, in particlar, Rabbit, etc. So M said she’ll give it a try.
