Caturday Art with Blueberries

Raven has a swirly tail for today’s Caturday Art hop with Athena. If you compare it to yesterday’s photo, it makes it look like she has some sort of tail.

This is completely off-topic, but we’re excited about our first picking of blueberries. We nearly filled a 9-inch pie plate.

A few weeks ago I showed the enclosure we built to keep the birds from eating the berries.

I expect we’ll be able to pick two or three more batches of berries and the birds won’t get to eat any!

And here they are swirly.

  1. Oh goodness! What a great swirl! And I must say, that is an ingenious enclosure! I, Marvelous, had my furry first blueberry today. Mom bought some to have with waffles…one fell on the floor and I thought I should eat it…I| did NOT! (but I DID like the whipped cream!

  2. Those blueberries look great. How cool that you’re growing your own. Our mom loves blueberries.

  3. That’s a great swirly effect. The peeps had a blueberry bush at the old house. One bush provides so many berries. Today they bought some from the store.

  4. Blueberries are nice, but I LURV picking mulberries from the trees that grow around town. No one else picks the berries, so as I’m out and about, I stop and eat as many as I can, and have even carried a container to fill for later consumption. YUM!
