Felix’s sunbeam is eclipsed by Eddie Bear

While I wait patiently for my supposedly amazing birthday present to arrive I asked mom to dig into the archive and show me some photos of the kitties who came before me. These photos are from 2003.

Felix was enjoying a peaceful snooze in a sunbeam —

— until Eddie Bear came to say hi (and squeeze in on the sunpuddle?). Eddie Bear was a floofy 15-pound boy, so he cast a big shadow on Felix.

Mom told me that Felix loved his kitty brother and didn’t get upset that Eddie Bear was stealing his sun. And Eddie Bear wasn’t trying to make Felix leave, he was just coming by to say hi. Once he realized the sunpuddle wasn’t big enough for both of them, he left and Felix continued his nap.
